What is a virus..
A virus are is an infective agent that typically consists of a nucleic acid molecule in a protein coat, is too small to be seen by light microscopy, are able to multiply only within the living cells of a host.
Well you will surprise to know that VIRUSES are non living, until they are outside of living organism body, and living when they go inside a living organism body. They replicate and multiply their number inside a host cell and make their own copy , they use our machinery and consume and use for their self to multiply their own kind of other clone.
A virus is a microscopic parasite which can infect living organisms and cause disease. It can make copies of itself inside another organisms cells. Viruses consist of nucleic acid + a protein coat. Usually the nucleic acid is RNA; sometimes it is DNA. ... A virus has a simple structure.

When we get sick, why can't Viruses and bacteria Invade our brain? Its because the brain has protective layer called the BLOOD BRIAN BARRIER(BBB).
The blood brain barrier is a barricade of cells between the blood vessels and the brain layer keeps safe disease-causing pathogens (bacteria and viruses) and other toxins that may be present in your blood .
The blood brain barrier is a highly selective permeable barrier it controls what gets through the bloodstream into the brain, and what does not BBB prevents harmful molecules from reaching the brain Essential such as glucose, oxygen and water can easily pass through BBB . Blood vessels in the brain have specialized endothelial cells that are packed very tightly, forming tight junctions small molecules leave the blood and enter the brain tissue by sneaking through these junctions BBB poses one of the major challenges for drug delivery to the brain as it blocks almost 95% of medicines delivered orally or intravenously to treat neurological disease, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson researchers are developing techniques to bypass the barrier.
Torjan horse approach is one way to trick the BBB allowing passage of the drug in this technique , the drug is fused to a molecule that can pass the barrier it involves combining therapeutic drugs with antibodies that bind to specific receptors on the blood side surface of the barrier layer binding activates the receptors, which then enters the cells and pass the layer where they unload their cargo into the brain.
Other brain-penetrating strategies involve the use of engineered viruses that can deliver therapeutic agents into the brain cells , Scientists are using ultrasound to temporarily open parts of the blood brain barrier patients are first injected with microscopic bubbles. These bubbles spread throughout the circulatory system with pulse of ultrasound, researches vibrate the bubbles in a portion of the brain. This causes the BBB to open for a few hours before sealing itself again
woow how amaizing that our brain is a dynamic machine hmm.. hope you all got a good knowledge regarding our brain..
