Soviet launches an Rocket with , Laika a space dog who became one of the first animals in space, and the first animal to orbit the Earth.

Liaka she is a street dog and was trained to go to space , She was born in Moscow, Russia.

 The dog Laika, the first living creature to orbit the Earth, did not live nearly as long as Soviet officials led the world to believe. The animal, launched on a one-way trip on board Sputnik 2 in November 1957 

Liaka was a normal street dog in Russia , chosen to be sent in space . The aim was to find how long a dog can survive in Zero Gravity. 2 Nov 1957, Russian launched Laika into Space inside a spacecraft named Sputnik-2.

It was a suicide mission for Liaka because there was no way to bring her back to Earth for the few hours everything went normal but then cooling system failed , Laika had nowhere to go..but to wait till death within a few minutes Laika died because of overheating 162 days after launch sputnik re-entered Earth's atmosphere and burned up in re-entry along with Laika .
